Hi, I am trying to install the activiti designer on mac os x within a eclipse eclipse-SDK-3.6.1-macosx-cocoa.tgz (as suggested)
but cannot see any Activity plugins, etc.

I have tried this with eclipse 3.6.1, 3.6.2 and 3.7.0, (all classic) and all with Java 1.5 resp. Java 1.6 but none of this environments
seem to work with the activity plugins (I should note that the installation from the update site was successful).

Did anyone of you got the plugins running under mac os x?

  regards, Chris

Same problem here. I had the following configuration:
2.6.38-11-generic #50-Ubuntu SMP Mon Sep 12 21:17:25 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
java-1.5.0-sun-1.5.0.22

changing JVM with OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b11, mixed mode) solved the problem.

I suggest you further investigation. Anyway, Activiti is an amazing piece of software! Smiley Wink

Hi,

JDK 5 is not supported, so that's the reason it didn't work for you.
You must have Java 6 or greater installed to run the Activiti Designer.

Best regards,
