Designer RoadMap

Hi,

I'm evaluating Activiti as our BPM engine and was interested to understand more about the road map for the eclipse designer.

I've had a quick look and realized that some simple tasks, such as, setting up an enum form variable(how do you specify the enum values) are either not supported or not documented.

I'm aware that the designer is new and was shifted from the Signavio web designer but would like to understand to what direction it is going.

Hi,

We are working to get this kind of functionality supported.
But it always helps if somebody raises an issue on the forum to talk about it.
For the roadmap we are currently looking into the following things:

- Better project explorer / navigator to hide the Java stuff
- More support for testing processes
- Deploying processes on an Activiti Engine

I forgot, we already added the enum form value support in trunk.
So it will be available in the 5.8 release.

Another issue I've encountered was when you modify form properties, every time you hit the save button the property Id and Name switch positions.

In addition, is it on the road map to add the capability of defining all your process variables at the process level and then use them in different tasks?
