I am new to Alfresco (please pardon my ignorance if the answer to the question is obvious)….
I am trying to create a site with Alfresco share. I am able to import content into alfresco share. I want the static assets (images, media etc…) to be deployed to an Apache web server. From the documentation I understand that this can be achieved using the deployment engine. However, configuring the deployment engine required configuring the target from Alfresco explorer->company home->web projects.
In alfresco 4.0.d community edition, I am not able to find this option. I understand AVM has reached end of life and hence not available.
So, in this situation, what is the workaround? Should I install AVM even if it is not supported or does Alfresco 4.0 have a different solution?
Any help/advise in this regard is appreciated.
