Deploying without Root Access?

Hello,

Has any one experience on running/deploying alfresco on a Managed Server, without having root access to it?
Is this possible at all, assuming that the underlying infrastrucute (mysql, tomcat, jdk, .. ) is present?

Yes its fine as long as you can map the restricted (below 1000) TCP ports.
