deploy_start.bat scripts fail to work

Hi

I'm running the comunity edition and downloaded the Deployment server from http://sourceforge.net/projects/alfresco/files/WCM/Alfresco%202.1/.

But when I run  the deploy_start.bat  scripts fail to work. The deploy_start.bat script fails silently (the FSR window briefly appears but doesn't stay around and doesn't produce a log file).

Aparently the problem is with "%JAVA_HOME% variable that seems to give an empty result. I have java instaled of course.

Any ideias ?

Aparently the problem is with currupt registry entries for Java http://www.java.com/en/download/help/error_mainclass.xml
