Demo doesn't install properly: Missing tomcat?

Hi,

I tried to install the activiti-5.8 demo on my Windows XP/2 machine, but for some reason it thought there would be a folder called ..\apps\apache-tomcat-6.0.32\ relative to the "setup" folder, but their isn't.

Is this simply a matter of plopping the vanilla Tomcat server there, or is there configuration, etc. required to get the demos to run?

Thanks.

Regards,

Mike

Hi,

the ant script does the job for you. Change Directory to setup and call ant -p to see what targets are present. Setup will download tomcat for you
and install it to folder apps.

Best of luck Smiley Wink

Use ant -p in the setup directory.  One of the targets is to install tomcat.  That worked for me.
