Deleting a task

Just started using Activiti today so I'm a complete newbie.

How do I do something as basic as deleting a task?

I think I created a task - just by typing in something in the name field at the top right.(Not part of a process).

Now every time I try to do anything I get a "Provided Id is null" error. What is this? And how do I get rid of it.

Can you look for a stack trace in your logs, so we know what's going on?

Attached are the catalina and tomcat logs - they have stack traces for null ids. Hope you can make sense of them!

There seems to be an issue with events generated for the adhoc task created in activiti explorer. Keep in mind that explorer is a testing-ground/demo app for all Activiti API's… I'll take a look at it later this week, thanks for reporting.
