I too would like to know. Deleting a tag is very important, since otherwise your list of tags gets very large and any misspelled tags add to the bloat.
I also believe that tags are Share-wide, not just specific to a site within Share. (Is this true?). If so, the bloat (and consequent need to be able to remove tags) is even more important.
Finally, it is less important to manage "folksonomy" tags… everyone creates them, adds them to the pool of all tags, and associates them to content as they choose. Folksonomy tagging can be good even if by nature sets of folksonomy tags are not managed… the most useful tags rise to the top and may even be better than some pre-defined tags. Still, folksonomy tags (the Alfresco model, I believe) really increases tag bloat in lists of tags.
Lastly, even if tags can be removed, can they be removed only by an administrator? Or can they be removed by anybody? Can I remove my own tags but not yours?
I can't find answers to any of these questions or when poking around Share, HELP or the Packt literature.
