Deleted 'admin' space --- Now can't login as admi

I deleted the top level 'admin' space. I thought I had changed the "home space" of admin, but it seems I did not.
The result of this is that I cannot log in through the web client. :cry:

The error I get when attempting to log in is ….

The Home Space node referenced by Id: 96293868-e890-11db-bbe8-f9b128b0275f cannot be found. It may have been deleted from the database. Please contact your system administrator.

How can I recover the admin home space (or make a new one) without using the web client ?

I solved this by giving another user 'admin' capabilities (editing webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/authority-services-context.xml)  and then repairing the admin home space.
