Default space users in space templates

Hi Alfresco,

It's not possible to add users or groups to space templates if I'm correct. Or better, it IS possible but these authorization settings are not copied when I apply this template to a real space.

Are there any plans to support this in the future? Authorization is something very specific so some manual maintenance will probably always be needed but it would make my life so much easier when I can set some by default.

Not only users and groups but the inheritance setting would be something useful as well.

I would like to build a space template with some inheritance setting (on or off) and a few default groups.

Any suggestions, timeframes or remarks?

Copy of permissions during a copy operation has been fixed for next release:

Thanks for the reply Kevin but I can't access the JIRA issue.

I'll check this in the new release…

We keep getting that problem with our JIRA installation - it'll go away after a restart, feel free to check again later.
