Default Alfresco Portlets for LifeRay? (Newb question)

Hello all,

Does Alfresco come with a set of default portlets? I looked at the Alfresco/JBoss Portal bundle and saw a few Alfresco portlets. Are those custom portlets for that specific bundle? Can I use the dashboard/etc in other portals?

I'm trying to deploy Alfresco 1.4 within LifeRay 4.2 on JBoss 4.0.5. I was able to get JBoss started with a few random errors. I added the Alfresco portlet to Liferay. When I viewed the portlet it was only a list of documents. I didn't see any buttons to browse, create, upload, etc new documents. Is this how it's supposed to be?

No, you are just looking the alfresco client integrated in Liferay 4.2.*

So you have to deploy the "alfresco client portlet".

To do this, i had to download the alfresco.war portlet from liferay website (end of the download page).

Add the 3 files liferay***.xml to deploy it in Liferay and put the portlet in the Menu.

I had an other problem and have to remove the portlet *.jar from the lib in the war.

So later, put the war in the /home/liferay/deploy folder

And run your app server.

The next pb is to transmit authentification lol….

Yep…finally got JBoss/Aflresco/Liferay working.  I have CAS integrated with Liferay.  Now I'm trying to integrate CAS with Alfresco so I get SSO once signing into the Liferay portal… has anyone accomplished this?
