Data Store or physical Files??

Hi where are the physical files stored with in alfresco… in the back end on the C:/ ????

I can’t seem to find them anywhere… or are they stored in the database.

Sorry i am new on this.. isnt there a way where it is storage on the physical hard drive…. or do i have to use a program that i can use to access it from the database…

It is stored in a physical place on the hard drive, but it is managed by Alfresco. If you want to access the files, you can use a CIFS mount to see the repository as a drive. Is that what you are looking for?

I have looked at that already, but when i get off the network i am unable to see this drive.. i just thought that it might be located somewhere else???
