Dashlet content not displayed on dashboard

I have created a simple java-backed webscript dashlet as per the example in http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Java-backed_Web_Scripts_Samples
And deployed it successfully.
This new dashlet is available to add in "Add Dashlet" while customizing the dashboard. But, when added on dashboard, the dashlet contents are not getting displayed.
If the dashlet code throws any exception, the dashlet content is seen on the dashborad with the exception text.
But, if there is no exception, the dashlet text is not seen on the dashboard.

Can anyone please help?

You can try out JSON/HTML callback to get result rendered on dashlet.

You can use <f:verbatim> tag to display text in dashlet.
