I have an alfresco 4.0.e installation where all the users work fine, except from one (it's the user with the most activity in Share, if that matters), who's dashboard takes forever to load. The description of the situations is similar to this one I've found in the forum.
Any clues what can be causing this? The log tells me nothing!
Dashboard performance generally - including the slowest query based dashlets - have all been improved significantly since 4.0.d.
Latest enterprise releases have these fixes, plus the new Community release. The 4.2.a community release will be coming next month. A branch new nightly build has just popped out if you want to do some testing: http://dev.alfresco.com/downloads/nightly/dist/
