Customizing HTML editor

Hello Team,

I have created a custom type with two custom metadata.
I need to show the metadata in the customized HTML editor through Share Create content page.
The customized HTML editor will have only few components like bold, italics, underline, spell check, indent and align components.

Is it easy to achieve the above requirement? If yes, could you please give me some inputs on the same?

Can't you just use YUI Rich Text Editor: http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/editor/?

Alfresco already has all of YUI in it, and uses it on a couple of places. Additionally, it is pretty configurable so you can remove the non-needed stuff and only leave components you mention, like bold, italics etc.
