Hi everyone!

I have been successfully updating my system to version 2.1!

There is great improvements in this version: advanced search manages list, navigation include more AJAX components for better user experience, … and many more I haven't yet discovered!!! Smiley Very Happy

I am also interested in the new popup displayed when user click on the "i" (information) symbol close to content.
This popup displays content metadata. It is a very quick way to view those data!

I am now wondering how I can configure alfresco to display custom metadata in this popup ! I am sure there is a configuration of web-client to define this but I haven't yet find how…

This would be wonderful !

Thanks,
Jey

Thanks for your kind words Smiley Happy

The AJAX pop-up summary panels are generated by FreeMarker templates - so it is possible to modify them and use our extensive new FreeMarker API for 2.1 to perform all sorts of exciting functions:
http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Template_Guide

Currently the template locations are hardcoded, that will be made configurable (and therefore overridable) for 2.1 final:
http://issues.alfresco.com/browse/AWC-1319

For now you can try modifying the template in the expanded WAR file in tomcat, look for: \tomcat\webapps\alfresco\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\templates\client\node_summary_panel.ftl

Thanks,

Kevin
