Hi
I'm using Alfresco 4.0d.
I want all my documents have a custom aspect, called "datable".
What is the best way to do this ?
I know I can add an action in the company home that add this aspect, but I would like to customize the type "cm:content".
Is possible to do that ?
Thanks

I strongly encourage you to not modify the out-of-the-box types and aspects. Instead, why not create your own custom type that extends cm:content and modifies it as you see fit?

But if I do in this way, how can I make this custom type the default type ?
Must I create a rule that specializes any submitted document ?

Yes, you would have to create a rule. Or you could do some work to customize the Share UI. But a rule would be the easiest and requires no code.
