Custom model field order

Hi, is there a way to order the Metadata fields on the Details of a document?

I have defined the fields in share-config-custom.xml but the order doesn't  seem to follow the xml definition.

When i put the fields in the <appearance> section, i can't login in Share.

Yes, even I saw this behavior in community edition 3.4d (running on Linux, Jboss). I tried to show some of my custom document properties but the properties screen always shows some other set. Not sure where else we need to change to get this functionality.

I'm using the Community Edition 3.4d too on Linux with Apache Tomcat.

Do we need to create a new Share Form to order the fields?
