Custom drop-down menu item for custom CM

I've extended the Content Model adding a custom CM.

Is it possibile to customize the drop-down menu only for the custom content model ? I found documentation where there are described the steps required to modify the web-client-config.xml in order to add a new item in a menu, but I'm not sure if it's possible to display that item only for a custom model.

Almost Everything you configure in the web-client-custom-config.xml is started by a "condition" like "Node-type = cm:content" or so. Just define your actions via  "node-type = my:content" if it depends on the type, or do that with user roles, if that depends on user richts.
