Custom - Create Document Library Folder

Hi everyone;
Looking for some quick direction if anyone can offer some.

I have a a site created on 'shared'.  On that site there is a dashlet with a 'create campaign' button, this button should create a new subfolder in the Document Library/Campains  folder.  Is there an API method I can hit or would this be a custom webscript?

I'd write a custom web script. It's so quick to do and you don't have to worry about finding an out-of-the-box one that meets your needs, grokking that, or whether or not it will change in subsequent releases (we are only now starting to identify which web scripts are considered "public" API and which really shouldn't be used by anyone but Alfresco).
