Custom Content Model for Folders

Hello!

I want to have a custom content model for folders.
As parent I use cm:folder instead of cm:content. That should be the only difference, isn't it?

When I create a folder in the Alfresco GUI I am not asked which type the folder should be. Am I not able to use custom folder types by the GUI?

Same problem here.

Only way I was able to create my custom node using the GUI is to modify the web client so you can use the action "specialize type" on a created "store" folder.
You have to modify the web client config file to allow this action on a 'store'.

Bit annoying that this simple process is not strait forward.
I begin to wonder if its possible to create entities that are just collection of other entities Aka "folders" without going into problems.
