Hi,
I was reading the PDF "Starting Alfresco 2" and using Alfresco 3.0. In the PDF it says navigate to the company Home > Data Dictionary and then click on the Web Forms and then we get the option to Create New Web Forms.
However, when i navigate to the Data Dictionary there is no option that is called "Web Forms". I created a space with the name Web Forms,, however now when i go inside space called "Web Forms" there is no option to create new Web Form.
Please assist as to how to create new web Forms in Alfresco 3.
Thanks\

In order to create Forms, you need to install WCM module (basically some additional configuration which enables the UI). I am not sure how that works in 3.0 exactly, but see if you can find a released file that contains WCM - inside it there should be instructions for enabling WCM.

Hi, Thanks for the information. However can you confirm how it works in the older version of Alfresco. Do we need to install WCM module in those versions also. if yes, is there any document on the same. as I am not able to find the same any where.

From http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Installing_Labs_3#Windows_Download_and_Installation, you need alfresco-labs-wcm-3a.1032.zip. Just unzip it into tomcat directory as per instructions, restart alfresco and you should be good to go. Make sure to delete your "Web Projects" directory beforehand, since it will try to create it. .
In older versions, there is that option as well, at least for the enterprise. I think we also bundled it all together as well, though not sure about that one.

there is no open to uncheck the default install in the installer..
However, I am able to create web Forms from Alfresco.
