Hello,
I'm trying to create web content following the WCM_Eval_Guide2.0.pdf. The problem appears when I want create new content (pages 31-32) because I can't see the XML editor like in the tutorial.
It's working just with the HTML/plain text content.
After - when I follow the tutorial - I can see the Alfresco.xml file who will be created in /ROOT/media/releases/content/.
Can someone help me ?
Thanks in advance,
Christophe

Hmmm … not sure what you're seeing exactly. Sandboxes do have permissions. If you are the owner of the sandbox, you can access the create content wizard and create content. In the tutorial on page 31, you should be logged in as the admin user working in the admin sandbox - and it should work fine. Now, if you were logged in as a second user and are trying to work in the admin sandbox - sorry, doesn't work - even if you have permission to the underlying asset. It's a different user's sandbox, and it's their own playpen.
Maybe you were logging in as a different user when doing workflow and didn't logout and log back in as the appropriate (admin) user?
Kevin

Hello,
I was logged in Admin and I could acces to the Create Content Wizard but the XML editor doesn't appear (when I choose XML content type). If I use others users, in their Sandbox, it's the same so it's probably a bug or an error of my part. But I can't resolve it.
A little precision, I'm using Alfresco Enterprise 2.0.

Hmmm … can you take three screenshots: the web project view when you're accessing the wizard, the first step of the wizard, and the form itself? I want to get to the bottom of this.
Just email me at kevinc@alfresco.com.

I have the same exact problem. Alfresco 2.0 + WCM, community: no web content wizard never appears at web XML content wizard step 2. (empty blank line instead of structured editor based on XSD template) => I cannot enter any content. If wizard completes: empty XML file created at the right place….

I have the same problem with Alfresco 2.0 + WCM (both 2/21/2007 release)
When i create a content from company profile Form, i choose XML as content type in the first step (web Content Details), and in the step 2 (Author Web Content), i do not have the XML editor to contribute. I just have the following text:
"Saisir le contenu de votre document dans l'Entrepot.
Cliquer sur Suivant pour continuer. "
As you can see, i work with a French interface (interesting !), so i though that it could be caused by the french localisation. So a tryed to connect with the Admin account in English langage and…. when a clic on the "Web forms" twisty in my alfrescowww web project, i have the following java error:
javax.faces.FacesException: java.lang.NullPointerException
caused by:
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: java.lang.NullPointerException
caused by:
java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.NullPointerException
caused by:
java.lang.NullPointerException
…
I continue to investigate, but i am very interested of your conclusions..

It seems that in french language, some french localisation sentence breaks the page javascript:
'localisation dans l'entrepot' : the quote at the middle of the french sentence breaks the javascript…..
could you try fixing this in the jsp page and retrying ?

I 've exclude all the quotes in the french property file, and there is always an error…
There is an JS error on the page container.jsp
Line 52
Char 3
Error 'alfresco' is indefined
code 0
… i check the jsp/js, but if someone already has an idea…
