Hello

How can we create a content which has multiple authors?  i.e. Suppose content's version 1.0 is made by an author but version 1.1 of same content will be made by different author than the 1st author.

So, how and where can we specify this new author's name and details? Please suggest.

Thanks
Amit.

Hi,

The cm:author property is single-valued and mostly used internally by Alfresco.  Firstly, I take it that you want to be able to see the full author history for any given document even if it is not versioned in Alfresco.  To do this, you need to add a custom aspect to the document that has a multi-valued property, my:author, say.  You can then register additional behaviour for the cm:auditable aspect or for your new aspect to handle the property change events and add the author's name to the relevant property.  cm:author, however, will always remain the latest author and cm:creator will remain the initial creator (unless you override it with a metadata extractor, etc).
