Copy document outside repository with javascript

Hi,

I want to a set rule whenever an image is uploaded into the space, i want to copy the image to the folder outside the repository for example at /opt/images. How can i do this with javascript? Or any other alternative

AFAIK with the help of Alfrescojavascript you will not be able to acheive this as for alfrescoscirpt it can only move documents within repository not out side.
But I think what you are looking for is "DesktopSync in alfresco" check out this
