Copy a Space Template with rules

Hi,
  I'm thinking about copying a Space template with many aspects and some content rules. Is it possible via PHP framework? I know there is no copy function, but is possible to 'getRules' and 'setRules'?

Hi Eddie,
  I wrote webscript 'createsession', which creates new space and sets properties and this script I call from my .php with parameters.
