Hi eveybody!

Is it possible to use the Content Store Selector in a Community Release (4.0 or higher)???

do you think it would be a good practice to separate the logic of different projects in the same alfresco using the content store selector??? I know that it uses a different file system for the documents. you would have the same database mysql but with different custom types.

thanks so much

edit : I fond this

<blockquote>
Storage policies: I am not pretty sure and should check in 4.2.x if the Content Store Selector / Storage policies is no longer available in the Community, but it was there in the 3.x versions.
[Edit]: storage policies have been removed in Community 4.2.x:
NoSuchBeanDefinitionException: No bean named 'storeSelectorContentStoreBase' is defined
</blockquote>

I have this: base_stack_version=4.0.d

in relation to my second question, I have been reading about multi-tenant solution. it is a way to configure different tenants for each prject for example, but it seems to have some limitations… I will have a custom Java app so I will manage it with probably openCMIS (limitations: CIFS,WCM,RM,Portlets,Delete Tenant,LDAP, NTLM and authentication methods other than “alfresco”,Inbound Email,Content Replication,IMAP,SPP / VTI ,sharePoint Protocol,reloadable Share config ) . It looks that works with community and enterprise.

I would like to know all possibilities to choose the best one to do what I need.

are there more solutions?
