Content Migration to Alfresco

Hi,

I am working on a project where I need to migrate terrabytes of content into the Alfresco Content Repository from a shared drive sitting on a server.

I have done some research and found out about entropysoft but was wondering if there is an open source alternative Content ETL tool that I can use.

Hi! I am a bit lost here.When you say the content can be transfered via FTP into Alfresco Repository,which directory do I tranfer it to?

If you're still need the dynamic configurability of ETL, there is an Alfresco ETL Connector for Talend, that precisely allows to configure permissions while doing bulk import :
