Connector with Kofax

Hi,

We would like to integrate Alfresco with Kofax.
I know that MicroStrategies developed a connector for the Enterprise edition.
But even on their  web site, I did not find which version of Alfresco in compatible with Which version of Kofax.
Does anybody have experience about this subject ?

Kofax integration is supported out of the box with the latest Enterprise Edition. See http://www.alfresco.com/products/networks/compare/.

In addition to the open source Forge extensions Alfresco makes available fully certified enterprise extensions that enhance the core ECM capability e.g. production Kofax integration for production imaging

But, as the new version of Kofax Capture, Kofax Capture 9, was released at the beginning of this year, I would like to know if the integration provided in the latest Enterprise version is compatible with this new  version Kofax Capture 9 or if we have to use the previous version of Kofax Capture (Kofax Capture 8).

Oh right. According to Alfresco 3.3 notes, you'll need Kofax Capture 8.x. So no to 9.

You'd better check with Alfresco.

We've deployed the release script with Kofax 9 and had no issues. If you run into anything, please let me know.

Alfresco Enterprise 3.3.3 + Kofax 9.0

We can connect from Kofax and we see the space structure, everything - however, the moment we do an export, we get the following error:

Export Error: Script #2 (Alfresco Kofax Release Script) [Export Connector Returned -1. Your export connector may need to be re-installed.]


Please help!!!

Hello Jason. I work in Kofax and we're trying to make the connector work with Kofax Capture 9 and Alfresco Enterprise 3.3.4 , but it's not working. Can you please tell me if this should work and, if possible, send me the right components we should be using at both sides?

We are stuck too trying to get this to work with ent 3.4.0 and Kofax 9

I've opened up a ticket - two weeks ago - but no answer yet other than a remote hint through an Alfresco partner that there might be something fixed in 3.4.1 next month(ish).

hmmm…that's not good! I wish there was a quick fix for this.
