Hi Team,
We have Alfresco 3.0 + NTLM + SSO up and running. we want to make an employee to 'Manage Alfresco User Groups and Users' and Manage a particular space alone and not all space, owing to the security of the file. This is an important requirement. How can we achieve this.
We have a seperate admin user. we want to make another user as the above requirement.
Await your suggesting.

…Manage a particular space alone and not all space, owing to the security of the file.
This can be achieved by using the Manage Space Users (under More Actions dropdown) functionality when logged in as a "Coordinator" of that space.
Best to create a group and add users to that group. Then in the space you want to allow this group to manage permissions, add the group as a coordinator.

You got the message wrong, let me put it in the other way.
we created a NT user (alfresco.admin) and marked him as a administrator in a xml file in the alfresco folder. So now a admin user has been created as 'alfresco.admin'.
so this 'alfresco.admin' users can - Create user groups, users and manage spaces.
Consider my case, i am normal user, my manager wants me to manager a particular space, user groups and users. managing a space can be achieved as u suggested, in addition i need to manage user groups and users (currently it can be done only by the administrator (alfresco.admin)).
Hope i am clear with my requirement.
is it possible to stop a space access fro administrators. Let me know.
