complete palette in eclipse IDE

hi,
i have installed ACTIVITI plugin in my eclipse IDE…but i am able to see  limited palettes in my eclipse. Why i am not able to see and use the extensive palettes provided my SIGNAVIO BPMN2.0 editor.

you're right, the functionality in the Eclipse Designer is not a full equivalent of the Modeller at the moment. This is because the Designer is in its early stages and we are still working hard to add functionality so it maps more fully to the capabilities of the Modeller. Features are added as soon as we have created and tested them and at the moment our release planning is decoupled from Activiti's own planning, so we may update released versions in a different schedule. If you're interested in running the most recent builds, the best way to do this is to check out the designer from version control and build it yourself. I should warn though, that you might run into issues if you choose to do this.

It looks like that the plugin can't rebuild diagram from bpmn2.0 xml? Is that expected?

Yes, we are planning to add support for the exchange format (DI) in an upcoming release (hopefully, February). Then you will be able to load BPMN that has DI data included into Designer.
