Hi,

This is my first post. I was forced to post it here since Alfresco support is very bad and been 24 hours and no reply.

I would like to know if there are any limitation (user, cpu, folder structure) for community edition?

Thanks!

The Community version is not a production-ready release, it is just a demo that you can use to implement a POC on top of Alfresco.

Please consider that just only basic tests are used to release the community version and it doesn't include the following items/features:

- JMX tools
- Clustering
- Replication
- Activiti and indexing console (you can reindex a range of nodes at runtime without restarting Alfresco)
- Hot configuration without restarting Alfresco
- Enterprise connectors: Oracle, SQL Server, SAP, Kofax, Autocad and XAM
- Bugfixes in the Enterprise layer (LDAP, Authentication, Subsystems, etc…)

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. It helps a lot.

In that case I might be looking at on-premise subscription. For Alfresco Standard Subscription, is it yearly basis or one-time payment? I email to info@alfresco.com for twice already and they do not reply since yesterday. So please help me if you know if it is one-time or yearly subscription.

Thanks!

DiEg0,

The subscription is yearly and is based on the number of CPUs you are running. There are no up-front license costs. If you PM me with your location and your email address, I'll make sure someone gets in touch with you about a subscription.
