Comments on Documents that only the Author can edit/delete

Hello Everyone,

i would like to add an aspect to my documents such that users can leave a comment. The problem is, that I only want
the user that wrote the comment to be able to alter or delete it. The owner of the document may do whatever to any
comment.

Is there a way to do that with the Alfresco permissions model? I couldn't come up with anything.

No.  Alfresco does not have field level permissions.   

You could model your "comments" as a child node and set the permissions on that child node.   That would work.

If I do that I guess I'd need to change the share environment rather heavily. Also I wouldn't be able to find the document
with the search engine anymore, right?
