CMIS Where to start

Hallo

I have recently installed Alfresco community.  We also use Jira for issue tracking and would like to integrate JIRA with Alfresco reporitory.  I have installed a plugin for JIRA that integrates to ALFRESCO CMIS.

I have the following Questions:
1. How do I start the CMIS service
2. How do I know that it is up and running
3. What is the URL that I must use from JIRA toe connect to the CMIS
4. Will all my content be available through this interface

I am really lost and do not know where to start to configure this service.

Actually you also need to choose which language you are comfortable to use along with CMIS so that your search can be more targeted.

Hallo I need help integrating my liferay to Alfresco:

I have the following versions running:

Liferay := 6.1 and Alfresco community 4.2
When I try and configure the repository in liferay I get and error " Please verify your repository configuration parameters"
When I take the same URL and add it to my browser, it asks for username and password, then it tries to save a xml file.

How can I verify that my CMIS interface is working on ALFRESCO before I connect via liferay.

What is the URL that I am supposed to add to liferay for Atompub. I use http://localhost:8080/alfresco/cmisatom.

This seems to poinnt to an xml doc is this correct.

You can "try" the Alfresco's CMIS endpoint using this simple tool:
