CMIS Java help required

I am new to alfresco CMIS. Can any one suggest a good tutorial for alfresco java CMIS?  Also please suggest which way to follow for CMIS - java or javascript api.

There is a book by name Alfresco 3 WebServices by Packt publication
Ofcourse Alfresco wiki.

Either you can use Java or JavaScript, For Java refer to Apache Chemistry library
For Javascript there is a plugin in jQuery
