Hi

I installed alfresco community 4.2.d mainly to use as Content Management System from LibreOffice.
It's a simple setup and helped with videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrz58q3PpqE), but it didn't work: the "Repository" selection box was empty.

I tried reinstalling Alfresco, with LibreOffice 4.0 and 4.1, without success…

However I changed the default binding URL from:
http://localhost:8080/alfresco/cmisws/RepositoryService?wsdl
to:
http://localhost:8080/alfresco/cmisatom
and now it works!

Has Alfresco changed? Should work with "cmisws/RepositoryService?wsdl" too?
I tried also with "http://localhost:8080/alfresco/cmis" and it doesn't work.

Regards
Aitor

Hi,

How do you run alfresco for this test?  I am testing with 4.2.b and my results are:

1. if alfresco is installed with the bundle, then both cmisws and cmisatom work.

2. if alfresco is installed with Ubuntu's distribution tomcat and distribution java then cmisatom works but cmisws doesn't work.  tomcat config and shared/classes alfresco config are identical as I can make them.  I still think this is user error, I might be missing some configuration and the bundle and distribution configurations aren't close enough and the difference is making things break.  But it could also just be difference in tomcat version.
