CMIS and workflows

Hi all,

I'm trying to launch an activiti workflow from an external application via CMIS, but I can't find a way to make it work. I read that it's possible (at leas in version 3.4 http://docs.alfresco.com/3.4/concepts/cmis-and-alfresco.html)

¿Is it possible to launch a workflow from the CMIS v1.1? I'm using opencmis v0.13.

As the link you referenced points out you must use web scripts to start workflows. Everything in that bulleted list requires something *other* than CMIS. The CMIS spec does not include workflows at all.

The only way to trigger a workflow from CMIS would be to use the Alfresco Share UI to configure a rule on a folder that launches the workflow, then use CMIS to add a document to the folder which should trigger the rule.
