CIFS

Hi

I am new to alfresco.I want to copy paste entire folder into mah local disk.It can be done through CIFS.but CIFS is not wrkin .I think its not configured.So hw do i configure it.

Do you use Alfersco 2.1 (written on your profile) really ?
You are on Windows or Linux ?

ya we use alfresco 2.1 in windows.actually for our organisation this has been installed long before and now due to some probs we need to move it to other portal.so we need to copy all the folders directly therefore we want to use CIFS.We dont have a technical team over here and even i am new to this so dont have much idea.Therefore looking forward for some help here.

A better way to move this instance would be via backup and restore.

actually we are planning to move it to sharepoint portal(not alfresco).so for that we want to store all the data in it presntly to some local storage.Therefore we want to make use of CIFS.If anyone know how to configure it please rply.
