CIFS servers fail to start

Alright guys. I've turned on smb debugging and I see the following in the logs

19:52:56,168 ERROR [org.alfresco.filesys.smb.server.repo.ContentDiskDriver] Error during create context
        at org.alfresco.filesys.smb.server.repo.ContentDiskDriver.createContext(ContentDiskDriver.java:352)
19:52:56,173 ERROR [org.alfresco.smb.protocol] File server configuration error, null

19:52:56,175 ERROR [org.alfresco.smb.protocol] CIFS and FTP servers not started due to filesystem initialization error

To me this seems like a permissions issue with the error during create of the context. However I'm not entirely sure..

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the repository directory set in your custom-repository.properties valid?


Example: dir.root=/var/lib/alfresco/alf_data
