Hello! First of all : congratulations for the good features.
Yesterday I've installed Alfresco and everything run wonderful. However today I try using CIFS. I copied the Win32NetBIOS.dll into windows/system32, then I start tomcat, but an ugly exception appears, and at the end of stacktrace print, my computer hanged up, so I have to push the power button to restart my computer. I've working with win xp pro.
I cannot provide the logs, because after the computer hang, I can do nothin except restart the computer.

Thanks,
João

Hi

This sounds like a silly question, but will eliminate one possibility…
is the PC you are using actually connected to a network?

We have seen Windows freeze when the PC is unable to establish a network connection, e.g. on a notebook using wireless and there's no wireless network available.

If you are trying to run Alfresco without a network, then you need to install the Microsoft Loopback Adapter (a google search will find the info to do this).

Regards
Paul.

Hi,
The computer is connected to a home switch that connects to a cable modem. I have the computer with the network configured connecting to the Internet. I'll try to re-install the service that helps NetBIOS over TCP/IP. If it doesn't result I'll reinstall the OS Smiley Sad

When I get this working I'll post here the results
Thanks,
João
