CIFS functionality dropping randomly

Hi everyone

Been having a problem with CIFS recently, I've got no problem with actually mapping the Shared drive, but isn't very consistant. 8 times out of 10 when I attempt to map a shared drive with Alfresco result in an error message saying that Windows can't find the domain name specified, despite it being there, and then there are those rare couple of of times when it actually does work.

We're running two mirrored instances of Alfresco on Windows Server 2008, and I'm wondering if there's something we haven't set properly. The server is online all the time so it's not just dropping all the time neither. Anyone any ideas?

When you are connected..
are you able to edit documents?

Which Version of Alfresco are you using?

I've never had the chance to edit documents in the few times I've managed to get it connected. We're using Enterprise 3.3.1 on Windows Server 2008
