Can anyone confirm that using CIFS with Alfresco works over the internet? I am using it on my LAN now, but need to move the solution onto the internet.
Feedback?

Matt

Why don't you use WebDAV? Alfresco supports it and it's exactly why one would use it… CIFS over internet would require a much more complicated configuration.

Thanks for the reply!
I wanted to use WEbDav, but it appears to be partially broken in Alfresco 1.4 Community Network - it will not permit PUT.
Are you familiar with anyone successfully running 1.4 and WebDav with successful PUTs?
Thanks again!

Hi Matt,
Sorry for the late reply. Don't know what you mean with PUTs. I'm evaluating 1.4 Enterprise at the moment and WebDAV seems to work fine. I can upload, lock and download docments via WebDAV with LDAP authentication. Don't know if this is of any help for you.
