Choosing best answer in alfresco site discussion

I am using alfresco share site discussion as a forum where people can ask questions and others can reply. I need to add the new feature to this where the user can select the best answer from the answers given. Anybody implemented this? Anybody interested share some idea on this

How about a customization that turns on "likes" for posts? The one with the most likes is the best answer.

I haven't looked at it but I am somewhat familiar with the underlying ratings functionality having implemented my own five star ratings module for Share 3.4. The aspect that tracks likes is there and should be able to be applied to posts. So the back-end is there you just need to customize the front-end. To do that you'd follow normal Share customization techniques and essentially deconstruct how likes already work on documents and do the same thing for discussions.

It isn't something easily summarized in a forum post. You're going to have to dig in. I'll bet someone with Share customization experience could get it done in a few days.
