CheckOut - CheckIn in Alfresco

Hello everyone.

I'm new Alfresco user, maybe my questions are silly, but still…

We are testing Alfresco Community 4.2f.
We don't have any client, we use WEB-interface.

I have created a site in Alfresco, and have downloaded an Excel-document to this site.
Then I clicked "Edit interactively" (may be in English version text differs… I am not sure).

MS Excel was launched, I did some changes, and closed MS Excel.


I don't know why, but document is still checked-out to me.
I mean it's locked by me and other users cannot edit it.
Also document can not be deleted.

Question:
How I can check-in document (I mean unlock).

Please advise.

Using Alfresco Explorer (/alfresco) you should be able to navigate the repository inside Company Home/Sites/<YourSite>/documentLibrary and inside this path you should see your locked content and the related working copy.

Clicking on the icon with the pencil and the green check you will execute a checkIn operation that will override the previous version and the current content will be updated and unlocked.
