Is the checking in of documents on version 3.0 different from the previous versions, as I cannot find the checkin button.

Sorry, no - I meant: which web client? Alfresco Explorer (JSF client) or Alfresco Share (the new 3.0 client)..?

Then you want the pencil with the green tick, with the tooltip saying "Check In".

Either that or go to the details page and look for the "Check In" action on the right - it has the same icon.

Hi..

I do get the pencil with the green tick when I check out the document.According to the getting started document page 29 when you checkin the document, There should be a checkin tab and a working copy location which I dont see when I checkin the document. All I see is the version info box and the done button.

I think the Getting Started guide is still being updated for V3.0.

The process has changed: you can now Update the Working Copy as many times as you want before checking-in. This is the document with up arrow and red star icon. So the process has been split into two parts.
