Changing permissions on root of documentLibrary

Hi,

We have a requirement to constrain the permissions of the root directory in the document library, however there doesn't appear to be anyway either in share or in the repository browser to set the permissions of that node.  Can what I'm looking for be achieved?  If, so how?

Actually you can get to that folder from either the site or repository doclib.

1 - Site: When in the top-level folder, click the "Documents" breadcrumb.
2 - Repository: Simply navigate down to Sites / {Site name} and manage permissions on the documentLibrary folder.
