Changing metadata of uploaded documents taking two attempts

We're using Alfresco Community Edition 3.2 installed from http://process.alfresco.com/ccdl/?file= … 86-Install

alfresco log shows the following when starting alfresco:
Alfresco started (Community): Current version 3.2.0 (2039) schema 2019 - Installed version 3.2.0 (2039) schema 2019

Having uploaded multiple documents into the Share Document Library I then started to go through adding Tag information to the documents metadata using the "Edit Metadata" link.  What I am finding is that when I change any of the metadata and press ok then both the OK and Cancel buttons grey out (disable) but the changes do not save, I have to press the X in the top right of the box to quite.  I then go through the process for a second time and this time the save works ok.

I can replicate this every time.
