changing 'company home'

All,

I am new to alfresco.

I am using Alfresco 1.4 on JBoss 4.0.5 with MySQL.

Can I change the name of the root Company Home space? I am trying to create a demo for a govt agency and Company Home doesn't sound quite right.

To rename a root space, you can just got to "View Details" and rename it.

You will still have "Company Home" on top toolbar, which, I guess can be easily found in JSPs and fixed.

I'm trying to rename a space but I can't find anything in 'view details'

When your in Space Detail, on the properties form, look to the right. You will find an icon of a sheet of paper with a pencil. Click it to make changes.

Ah, I was "blind". I was looking at the rightmost column and didn't realize I had properties in the "middle" column.

I'm a bit sorry for "transforming" the original (starter) question of this thread - Due to not understanding the system well enough.

Hi,

This is a common requirement.  The string Company Home is defined in bootstrap-spaces.properties, which you can change.
