Changing alf_data location

Hi All. I am currently using Alfresco 3.2 on Linux. The current "alf_data" is present in the directory "/opt/alfresco". However, due to space issue I have to move this directory to a drive with larger space. The new drive will be "/data/alfresco". I have this path configured in "repository.properties" file inside "alfresco.war". Is it sufficient if I only edit this file with the new location and restart the server. Do I need to make any other changes elsewhere? All the entries inside "alfresco-global.properties" file are commented and not in use.

Thank you in advance!!!

Regards,

You are doing it wrong.
The right way to configure alfresco is using alfresco-global.properties, and NEVER touch the out of the box files.

Remove all custom configurations from repository.properties and place them into alfresco-global.properties

In order to change the alf_data's folder location, change the "dir.root" parameter to the new location.
