Hi all. I've searched for this issue,but I've found nothing but this https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ALF-10992 where says the issue is resolved,but I'm still having issues. I've created some root categories through API alfresco/service/api/category and then using webscripts and API createSubCategory(name) I create subcategories in it. Now the problem is that root categories are not shown in category management nor in selection for adding categories to an item, however from node browser i can see them and also if I try to create a new category with same name i get error "A system error happened during the operation: Duplicate child name not allowed".
I face the same issue. The node browser does show the new categories, but the SOLR search (which the category browser uses), does not return them. not even after reboot.
